Trauma-Sensitive Performance Therapy

Therapeutic depth for people under high pressure

This offer is aimed at people who function under pressure—and feel that their nervous system is reaching its limits.

Trauma-sensitive performance therapy is a therapeutic setting for high performers for whom classic performance strategies no longer work because stress, trauma, or chronic overload are affecting them in the background.

Talks about understanding underlying patterns in therapeutic work

My Approach

The type of trauma therapy I use to support my clients has an impact on all areas of their lives. I see this work as my calling and take a holistic approach, which helps you to free yourself from early influences and limiting conditioning and increasingly embody the person you truly are.

Training and experience

Starting with the intro in 2002, I completed the three-year training program for Somatic Experiencing (SE) in Switzerland and graduated in 2005 with a diploma as a “Somatic Experiencing Practitioner©” (SEP). I have assisted in numerous SE trainings and continuing education courses in Switzerland and abroad. My therapeutic background lies in the Oda KT-recognized method of Polarity Therapy and the corresponding diploma as a Registered Polarity Practitioner (RPP). As a father of two adult children myself, I also enjoy working with children and adolescents.

More about me

When this setting makes sense:

This offer is suitable if:

  • your nervous system is constantly under high stress

  • inner tension, exhaustion, or loss of control are increasing

  • past stressful experiences are affecting your performance

  • you are functioning, but the inner price is rising

Many of my clients do not come to me because of a diagnosis, but because of a noticeable loss of performance and regulation.

What Trauma-sensitive Performance Therapy is:

A therapeutic setting that focuses on stabilization, integration, and restoring inner capacity for action.

Characteristics

  • Focus on nervous system regulation

  • Body-oriented, trauma-sensitive work

  • No retraumatization, no working through at any cost

  • Calm, precise process management

Therapy here does not mean withdrawing from performance—rather, restoring the conditions for sustainable performance

Therapeutic framework

  • Individual setting

  • Privately run, outside of basic insurance coverage

  • Certified Polarity Therapist (OdA KT recognized), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (since 2005)

My work is recognized by health insurance providers. I have consciously chosen a private setting in order to:

  • be able to work discreetly

  • remain methodologically free

  • avoid pathologizing processes

Typical topics

  • chronic overexertion

  • trauma-associated performance blocks

  • emotional dysregulation under pressure

  • exhaustion despite high functionality

  • inner restlessness, sleep problems, loss of control

What this offer is not

  • No coaching

  • No personality optimization

  • No performance enhancement at the expense of stability

If coaching or another setting is more appropriate, this will be clearly stated
